The LSB testing project is a work in progress. It is a program of tests being developed to verify runtime environments and applications supporting the LSB specifications. These tests are being used to support LSB compliance and LSB certification programs. Development and maintenance updates of the LSB certification test suites are governed by the LSB Certification Policy.

The latest release is for LSB 3.0. Latest information including download links are at http://www.linuxbase.org/download/#test_suites

The Certification Waivers List is available at: http://www.opengroup.org:8000/lsb/publicpr/PRSummary.

Since the LSB Specification is an application binary interface, the formal output of the LSB test program is a set of pre-built binary tools, one set for each architecture defined in the specifications. Source versions of the test suites are also available. All tools are available under an Open Source license.

This activity is being led by Andrew Josey from The Open Group. Previously Chris Yeoh has been our technical lead for infrastructure (cvs setup, scripting and glue code, etc.) Today Rui Feng has been building and packaging the binary versions of the tools for formal testing.
