Most critical activitiy:

LSB header files (Stuart). He has made progress on building the X Window System with the LSB header files. This has been the highest priority for him. Stuart says he will be done in a few days to a week.
Mats from Intel asked about the outdated Sample Implementation tasks. I said that Ralf was to reevaluate and update the tasks. Doug informed the group that Ralf is delayed due to a new born arrival at his house. Congratulations Ralf.
gLSB (Stuart).

Stuart has not had much time recently to work on this because he has been concentrating on the LSB header files
Task 42185, Stuart asked if Jim could review his work on /proc/cpuinfo
Task 27939, Stuart asked if someone could review the LSB's RPC and compare it to the SVID. We need to determine if we are missing anything.
Regarding the issue of removing "login", we decided that it would be bad to alter or remove it until LSB 2.0. So, we are to add "to be deprecated" to the man page.
Regarding the "scandir" issue. Scandir is a BSD function and is not part of SUS. It is not being used by Linux; therefore, it is to remain ommited from the spec.
Bruce has a set of patch files for the spec to be reviewed. We need these done by the end of the week.
Task 42189, Jim to add weizl words regarding that this group behavior is unspecified.

LSB waivers (Josey, Kevin, Chris)

We will start giving test case failures as "temporary waivers". Chris is to add a database field.
We will reserve half of the 12/12 meeting to talk about LSB waivers

The LSB Tet test cases are source code complete!
Lots of discussion regarding rsync this week. Rsync is a nice client/server application to use, but it would be nice to get more simple examples. I don't know if it is simple :-) but it would be nice to try to build Apache.
LSB Conformance Program (McNeil)
Andrew has test results from MSC Linux that he will forward to the group.
Andrew and George wanted to thank everyone for the review and input on their two presentations for LWE.
