LSB-Futures is a subcommittee of The Linux Standard Base working group. All requests and ideas for new additions to the LSB are discussed and tracked according to our process and criteria. The process and them criteria are also evolving and subject to discussion. We strive to maintain as open a process as possible.

We need your help! Anyone wishing to participate in LSB-Futures either as an observer or as a contributor should join the mailing list. There's also a list of how you can help.

The LSB-Futures subcommittee seeks to expand the scope of the LSB with items required by Software Developers in order to develop and deploy portable Linux applications.
